I have a samsung CLX 3175 FW multifunction color laser printer which works fine for whatever I want it to do (haven't tried the wireless printing, but I don't care about that)
Here's my question. I can't seem to find out how much toner I have inside the carts. I used to be able to (in Leopard), but not anymore. I think the software Samsung uses is called
"Smart Panel", and it resides at the top of my screen. My printer comes up there, but it gives me no information at all, whether the printer is on or not. I have also tried going through the Printer/scanner control panel under System Preferences, but same thing. I get
"Information not available" no matter what I do. Any help on this appreciated. I'd ask Samsung, but they'd probably tell me to buy another printer or say "It's Apple's problem, not ours"
