HVAC question for our pros other there

I recently received my thermostat [ ecobee3 ]

would you mind if i pick your brains?

I bought an ecobee3 thermostat. it has an option to control the HRV with acc + and - connection, but my HRV has 3 wires R G Y -would you know what wires i would connect to the thermostat?

thanks in advance.. [ called my builder but they are reluctant to answer. ]



also - the furnace i have is multistage 2h/1c system, would it be advantages to use

the reserve staging option of the thermostat?
