iTunes purchased music to mp3?

I like to listen to music while on my motorcycle. I have a BMW GPS that has a media player and streams audio (phone, directions, music) to my helmet via bluetooth. Everything works great, except most of my music is purchased from iTunes. The GPS only reads MP3. Is there an easy and simple way of converting my purchased music to mp3 while keeping all the files info like artist, album, track title, etc?
