My wife and I are mulling over getting a pair of iPhones and having one assigned to our land line phone number. This will be our first smart phone.
Is it possible to have some filter to defeat calls from "UNKNOWN" and an unknown number like our Panasonic land line system will do and, to record and defeat calls from those pesky carpet cleaners?
The decision about which plan and which carrier to go with is complicated. None of the plans are comparable and some want to lock a user in when we have little information about our usage patterns making me wonder about buy iPhones (from the Apple Store) that use a SIM card and using a pay-as-you-go plan.
