Mine was under 3 years old, with moderate usage. I streamed media from it but not constantly. There's nothing irreplaceable on it, fortunately.

My Seagate 2TB is still running fine, and it's older. My Seagate 5TB is under a year old, but I'm keeping an eagle eye on it for hiccups, and using it only minimally until my WD My Book Duo with 2x4TB WD Red drives arrives, which I will set up as RAID 1!
