i purchased a new (refurb) 15" mbp last juIy. Stupidly i dropped it and cracked it! The crack is at the outer edge and is causing the 1st inch of the screen to go black (of course. its under apples usual 1st year care - i plan to get apple care later) but what does this mean? do i have to take it to apple for the repair or can anyone (reputable) repair this? and having said that, how do i find someone in this forum, who can do the repairs? i know there are quite a few authentic apple cert techs here. please help! I'm so angry at myself but need help more.
