Last weekend I got a replacement 4S from Apple Store Bayshore and it had iOS 7.0 installed on it. I figured it would have something more recent. The genius told me that everything comes by boat and takes 2 months to get there. 8.4.1 was downloaded since it was plugged in while connected to wireless.
I was just wondering if 8.4.1 can still be installed even though it isn't being signed anymore. Or does that not apply in situations like this, and it would install without incident? I'm still debating whether I want to actually do it. But I'm curious if it would work.
